Craft & Sip (Stockholm)

About Craft and Sip

Join me (Hetty) for a lovely evening of guided crafting and sipping your favourite drink, with a new group of crafty friends.

Each week we will explore a different craft together, between 17:30 to 19:00 in Marievik, Stockholm.

You will be greeted with a drink and snacks on arrival (all included in the ticket price) and then meet your fellow crafters.

Once we have introduced ourselves, I will lead a short introduction to the evening's craft and explain what you will be creating. After that the session will flow organically - if you need some advice or help, I will be moving around the table to offer assistance.

With the exception of the clay crafts (which will need to dry) you can take your crafts home at the end of the day. Unfortunately you won't be able to take home the tools and materials provided at the session.

The idea is that you perhaps learn something new, make some new friends and have a lovely time!

Craft Info

April 13 - Clay (Hand Throwing)

    • In this session, we will be exploring air-dry clay by making pinch pots, small plates or bud vases. You will receive a portion of clay and some tools to create your chosen object during the session. I will then safely store them, let them dry and you can collect the following week

May 4 - Clay Glazing

Following from April's session, we will use beautiful glazing paints to decorate our creations. Before the end of the session we will seal the glazes. Your finished objects can be collected the following week.

If you are unable to attend the first session but would like to explore glazing, some pre-made objects will be available for you to glaze (250SEK)

May 20, June 6 & June 15 - Embroidery Intro

Let's practice some slow sewing. I will teach you the most useful embroidery stitches for you to practice on a simple embroidery design. There will be lots of different colours and even some beads to try, if you're feeling adventurous!
