It's all about toilet-friendly playsuits this summer!
The Penny ezp® Playsuit is a relaxed fit shorts style (comfortable and forgiving for long days in the park or weddings that go well into the evening) paired with Leim's new style back.
I wanted to design a style that would be comfortable for you to wear all day - in Leim's signature fabric, European pre-washed linen.
This style, as with all Leim's jumpsuits, has pockets that you can actually fit things in and the fitted top means you probably won't need to wear a bra.
It's easy - no more faffing around when you need the toilet!
First, undo the buttons either side of the waistband.
Undo the zips each side.
Go about your business.
Once you're done, pull up the zips - carefully! You could do the buttons first if you like, then you have both hands to re-do the zips.
The Penny ezp® Playsuit fits true to size. The shorts are a culotte shape, so quite roomy and an inside leg measurement of 8cm. This makes them very forgiving after a big lunch - but the waistband and top are both fitted. If you prefer a looser fit around your chest (or if you have bigger boobs) you can add this in the notes section of the form.
To get a perfect fit, please provide as many measurements as you can.
You can use the standard sizes (the 6, 8, 10 etc boxes below the colours) as a guide.
Then fill out your measurements in the form under the size selector.
I will use the standard size as the base pattern and create a new pattern just for you, with your individual measurements and bespoke adjustments.

The keyhole style back of The Penny ezp Playsuit makes for a summer holiday staple in my wardrobe. I feel supported and family-party appropriate (also work appropriate!) from the front but cool and a little bit sexy at the back.
The waistband on the bodice of The Penny ezp Playsuit looks pretty but it actually serves a structural purpose. It keeps the front of the bodice snug around your belly and also stops the fabric from loosely flapping around your shoulder blades.
The Penny ezp® Playsuit is machine washable on a handwash setting with non-biological detergent.
Please try to use an eco, detergent and do not let the buttons 'sit' in water for too long!
You will probably need to iron this jumpsuit on your iron's hottest setting, with plenty of steam - it's linen so can take the heat!

I named this playsuit style (and it's jumpsuit sister, The Penny ezp Jumpsuit) before I started naming my styles after my friends.
When I was younger, a friend of my mum's always used to use the euphamism 'going to spend a penny' instead of saying she needed the toilet. I used to think that was so funny, I had never heard anyone use it (or really heard it since, other than in old films.)
