The Penny ezp® Jumpsuit

£350.00 £269.00

What makes this jumpsuit different?

The Penny ezp Jumpsuit has a fitted bodice (top part of the jumpsuit) with princess seams which give great support without a bra up to a U.K. F cup (that I have tried!).

The bodice is fully lined and has a keyhole opening at the back. The waist and neck are closed with buttons made from corozo nuts.

The trousers have a fitted waistband at the front and back, darts and 2 tucks at the front for some beautiful shaping.

The jumpsuit has pockets that you can actually fit things in and the ezp zips, so you can go to the toilet without taking your jumpsuit off!

What do you mean, 'bathroom-friendly jumpsuit'?

Yes, you read that right!

There are 2 zips either size of the trousers of the jumpsuit (the 'ezp' zips.)

You simply undo each zip, undo the buttons on the waistband and let the back drop down (like the old long johns you see in Western films!) and do your business.

When you're finished, pull up the back, fasten the buttons on the waistband first (so you have both hands free to zip up the zips) and then zip up the zips.

This video shows you how they work: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DS0vrCSrOUk

I even checked the average toilet height, so the back won't touch the floor when you're sat down :)

Sizing and Fit Advice

To get a perfect fit, please provide as many measurements as you can.

You can use the standard sizes (the 6, 8, 10 etc boxes below the colours) as a guide.

Then fill out your measurements in the form under the size selector.

I will use the standard size as the base pattern and create a new pattern just for you, with your individual measurements and bespoke adjustments.

If you have any questions or would like help measuring yourself, please don't hesitate to get in touch - email me at hello@weareleim.com

In the pictures, I am wearing a size 10 with no adjustments - I am 5'7".

How to care for your jumpsuit

Try and spot-wash your jumpsuit whenever you can!

The buttons don't like being soaked, so try not to leave them in water for too long.

Do not tumble dry! Dry your jumpsuit flat (if you can)

More specific fabric care below:

Denim

  • Machine wash cold with similar colours
  • For darker denim I recommend washing alone for the first few washes as the colour may bleed
  • Iron on a medium to hot setting

Silk/Bamboo Silk

  • Dry cleaning is recommended but you can machine wash on a handwash setting if you live in an area with soft water
  • Remove from the washing machine immediately!
  • Iron on a low setting

Cotton & Linens & Tencels (and mixes)

  • Machine wash on a handwash setting
  • Remove from the washing machine immediately! This avoids water marks, particularly on dark fabric

Why is she called 'The Penny'?

I named this jumpsuit style (and it's playsuit sister, The Penny ezp Playsuit) before I started naming my styles after my friends.

When I was younger, a friend of my mum's always used to use the euphamism 'going to spend a penny' instead of saying she needed the toilet. I used to think that was so funny, I had never heard anyone use it (or really heard it since, other than in old films.)
